Since Mr. Beaton graduated from the Detroit College of Law in 1981, he has practiced law in Michigan as a litigator. Since the early 1990's, Mr. Beaton has practiced exclusively in the area of personal injury law. Mr. Beaton represents accident victims throughout the State of Michigan, and injured maritime workers under the Jones Act throughout the United States. He has obtained substantial settlements and jury verdicts for his clients, in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Beaton is a member of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Michigan Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. In addition to being admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan, Mr. Beaton has been admitted to practice in the federal courts for the Eastern District of Michigan, Western District of Michigan, Northern District of Ohio, and Western District of Texas.

Mr. Beaton limits his practice to the area of personal injury, specifically cases involving Construction Accidents, Maritime and Boating Accidents, and Auto Accidents.
